NASHVILLE, Tenn. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University women's track and field team began competition at the Black and Gold Invitational Friday, March 22, hosted by Vanderbilt University.
Freshman Mair Edwards (Basingstoke, England- The Costello School) started the day with a 16th-place effort in the 200m, crossing the finish line in 24.70. Her performance marked her career-best time in the event.
Sophomore Madison Distelrath (Fort Wayne, Ind.-Homestead) followed Edwards with a 4:49.34 1500m performance, earning her 46th place.
