Clarke Marks Top-10 Throw in Program History in Outdoor Season Opener

The Kingston, Jamaica native cleared 47.27m for an 11th-place finish
ATLANTA, Ga. (EMUEagles.com) – Eastern Michigan University sophomore Kadian Clarke (Kingston, Jamaica-Immaculate Conception) placed herself in the EMU record books with a personal-best effort in the hammer throw, Friday, March 15, while competing at the Yellow Jacket Invitational, hosted by Georgia Tech University in Atlanta, Ga.
Clarke cleared 47.27m en route to an 11th-place finish. Her display put her 10th all-time in program history, and bested her previous top record by .87 meters.
