HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. (EMUEagles.com) — The Eastern Michigan University men's golf team will complete in the Mission Inn Spring Spectacular in Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla., March 16-17. The 54-hole event, hosted by George Mason University, will take place on the par-72, 6,793-yard El Campeon Golf Course at the Mission Inn Resort & Club
The 17-team field includes: Akron, Bethune-Cookman, Cincinnati, Florida A&M, George Mason, EMU, Illinois State, Indiana, Kansas State, Lehigh, North Alabama, Northern Illinois, Princeton, Richmond, UCF, Wisconsin, and Yale.
Saturday will feature 36 holes of continuous play starting at 8:15 a.m., while Sunday's round also begins at 8:15 a.m.
Representing the Eagles will be Ty Celone (Long Sault, Ontario, Canada-St Joseph's Catholic), Beau Breault (Hartland, Mich.-Hartland), Zach Sudinsky (McKinney, Texas-Boyd-Stephen F. Austin), Cougar Collins (Caledon, Ontario, Canada-Mayfield Secondary), and Zack Mason (Toronto, Ontario, Canada-Blyth Academy Lawrence Park).
