Eagles Back in Action at Henssler Intercollegiate

KENNESAW, Ga. (EMUEagles.com) — The Eastern Michigan University women's golf team is set to tee off at the Pinetree Country Club for the Henssler Financial Intercollegiate, March 25-27, for the team's fourth appearance of the 2018 calendar year.
The Eagles return to the Peach State after just last week taking part in the 3M Augusta Invitational, where they finished 14th in a star-studded field. Junior Penelope Guilleux (Saint Maur Des Fosse, France-Arsonval) collected her fifth top-50 showing of the year with a total of 229 (73-79-77)
Eastern will face Augusta, Coastal Carolina, East Tennessee State, Georgia Southern, Kent State, Kennesaw State, UNCG, Ole Miss, South Florida, Troy, and Virginia Tech in the competition. The tournament will be held at the par-72, 6,032-yard golf course just a quick drive from the campus of Kennesaw State.
Traveling for the Eagles will be the familiar faces of Thelma Beck (Baden, France-Lycee Sainte Anne), Preaw Sripatrprasite (Bangkok, Thailand-Siam International), Guilleux, Julia Stevenson (Milford, Mich.-Milford), and Maria Connelly (Waterville, Ohio-Anthony Wayne).
Teams will play 36 holes on Monday, March 26, with 18 more on Tuesday, March 27, with shotgun starts each day.
