Men's Cross Country and Track & Field Inks Josh Hill

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — Eastern Michigan University Men's Track and Field and Cross Country Head Coach John Goodridge announced the signing of Josh Hill (Amherst, Ohio-Amherst Steele) Thursday, Nov. 15.
"Josh Hill was my number one priority recruit so I am very happy and fortunate that Josh has entrusted me with his college career," explained Goodridge.
Hill had an excellent career competing for Amherst Steele, taking part primarily in mid-distance and distance events. Most recently, Hill nabbed a third-place finish at the Ohio Cross Country Division I State Championships. Moreover, he marked an impressive 3200m personal-best of 9:14 as a junior.
"I am looking forward a great deal to coaching Josh," added Goodridge. "He is a great fit for me and EMU. Our guys feel the same way and really connected with him during his campus visit. Josh overcame quite a few challenges throughout his senior cross country season as he and Coach Glatz did a great job of not being deterred from having a wonderful season."
