ALL TIME AGAINST BOSTON: Eastern and Boston have battled three times over the course of the program's respective histories, with the Eagles holding the all-time lead in the series, 2-1.
All three games between the two teams were played in the 1990's, as the then-Hurons and Terriers clashed in 1990 (EMU win, 100-54, Dec. 22) in Ypsilanti and 1991(BU win, 70-64, Dec. 7) in Boston.
The last meeting between the two was a neutral-site showdown in the desert, Dec. 28, 1997, that saw the Eagles come away with a slim 72-69 victory at the Arizona State Tribune Classic in Tempe, Ariz.

WHAT A SCHEDULE!: After taking on No. 1 Duke Nov. 14, the Eagles still have one of their most daunting non-conference schedules of the Rob Murphy era in front of them. Waiting on the schedule is a trip to No. 2 Kansas, No. 21 TCU, plus a home-and-home with No. 25 Buffalo.
Eastern also has two road trips east to take on Rutgers and Northeastern on the non-conference slate.

ALL TIME VS. THE PATRIOT LEAGUE: Eastern Michigan has played 16 games in its history against teams from the Patriot League, holding an all-time record of 7-4 in those games. The Eagles have their best record against both Boston and Colgate, who they are 2-1 against. They also have single wins over American, Bucknell, and Navy, while their lone losing record is an 0-1 mark against Army West Point.
Eastern's last game against a Patriot League team was in head coach Rob Murphy's first season at the helm of the Green and White, with the Eagles coming up short on the road at Colgate, 70-74. Darrell Lampley scored 37 points in the loss for EMU, going a perfect 11-for-11 from the free throw line.

A SPARK OFF THE BENCH: EMU was stuck in a funk against No. 1 Duke on both sides of the ball until the bench picked up production. Sophomore Kevin McAdoo (Pontiac, Mich.-West Bloomfield) provided nine points to tie for the team-high, and fellow second-year guard Malik Ellison (Flint, Mich.-Beecher) distributed a team-best three assists while not committing a single turnover.

KING FOR A NIGHT:  Turning in a career-performance in Eastern's loss at Duke was sophomore Jalen King (Pasco, Wash.-, who grabbed a career-high four rebounds while scoring a career-best four points on 2-of-2 shooting.

WELCOME BACK KEVIN MAC: After sitting out the season opener against Rochester College, sophomore guard Kevin McAdoo has come off the bench to score 10 points against both Drexel and Goshen, while turning in a team-high nine points at Duke.

CHASING DOWN THE REBOUND RECORD: Senior James Thompson IV has led Eastern in rebounding in each of the last two games, including a seven-board performance at Duke, Nov. 14, to go along with six points.
Thompson is the NCAA's active career rebound leader with 1,136 during his three-plus seasons with Eastern. The Baton Rouge, La. native needs 291 boards to pass all-time EMU record holder Kennedy McIntosh.

ON THE HORIZON: EMU returns to action Monday, Nov. 19, in the finale of the Hub City Classic at the host of the tournament, Rutgers University, with tip scheduled for 7 p.m.
