GREEN BAY, Wis. (EMUEagles.com) - The Eastern Michigan University women's soccer team closes out a three-game road trip this weekend, Sept. 2, against the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay before beginning a four-game homestand Sunday, Sept. 4, starting with Loyola University-Chicago. EMU's contest with the Phoenix is set for 5 p.m. (EST) at Aldo Santaga Stadium, while Sunday's matinee versus the Ramblers is slated for 1 p.m. at Scicluna Field.
Fans can follow live stats for Friday evening's contest at GreenBayPhoenix.com. Sunday's game will have live stats via EMUEagles.com, as well as in-game Twitter updates @EMUSoccer.

ALL-TIME SERIES: The Green and White are a combined 2-0-0 against this weekend's opponents, with both victories coming during the 2015 campaign. EMU's lone meeting with Green Bay came just under a year ago as the two tangled at Scicluna Field, Sept. 20, 2015. The Eagles escaped with a 2-1 victory at home after GB held the early 1-nil edge. After Green Bay netted a goal in the 21st minute, Julia Lombardi scored on a penalty kick in the 27th minute before Kristin Nason's 73rd minute strike fueled EMU to the win. Meanwhile, last season's 1-0 win over the Ramblers was the Eagles' first win of the 2015 season, and marked the collegiate debut for Kaylin Williams. Williams made four saves en route to her first career shutout, Aug. 30, 2015. Rachel Washburn's corner service led to Megan Trapp's 64th minute game winning goal, securing the win.

SCICLUNA SUCCESS: Eastern Michigan has found consistent success when playing at home over the past 20 years, compiling a 100-48-25 overall record at Scicluna. The Green and White's 100th win came in EMU's 3-2 win over Akron, Oct. 4, 2015. In that contest, Gabriella Mancini netted the quickest goal in EMU history, scoring in the second minute of play. Michelle Rollins' goal in the 21st minute was followed by Ellie Tillar's game-winning strike in the 61st.

GETTING TO KNOW GREEN BAY: The Phoenix come into Friday's match with a 0-3-1 overall record, and have lost three consecutive games since opening the season with a scoreless draw against Loyola Chicago, Aug. 19.
Green Bay has struggled on the offensive end of the pitch this season, scoring just one goal in four games this season. As a team, the Phoenix have been out-shot 60-25, and have only put eight shots on target, compared to their opponent's 27. Additionally, Green Bay averages just 6.2 shots per game while allowing 15.0 per contest.
Defensively, the Phoenix have used two goalkeepers. Courtney Klatt has played a team-high 300 minutes, allowing four goals while making one save in 2016. Kelly Kent received the start in GB's latest outing, a 2-nil loss to Air Force, Aug. 28. Kent recorded 11 saves in the game, as the Phoenix were out-shot, 23-5.

RECON ON THE RAMBLERS: Loyola travels to Scicluna Field for its lone game of the weekend, Sept. 4, owning a 0-3-1 mark in 2016. Most recently, the Ramblers dropped a 3-2 contest at home to Valparaiso, Aug. 28.
Offensively, the Ramblers have scored two goals, both of which came in their latest outing. Avalon Senn-Raemont and Ashley Bovee have scored one goal each for Loyola, while Ciara Murray and Katie Grall have each recorded an assist.
On the other end of the pitch, the Ramblers have surrendered 2.00 goals per game, including seven over the past two matches. In goal, Loyola has split minutes between Cassidy Lentz and Maddie Ford. Lentz started Loyola's latest match and has given up five goals in two games while owning a .615 save percentage. Meanwhile, Ford has played a team-high 245 minutes between the posts, totaling a team-high nine saves en route to a 0-2-1 record.

WEEKEND ROUND UP: The Eagles returned to Ypsilanti with an 0-2-1 overall record after dropping a pair of matches to Iowa and Minnesota over the weekend. Early goals put the Green and White behind early, while lack of offense sealed the defeats.

IN SEARCH OF A 'PERFECT 10': After leading the Eagles with five assists a season ago, Rachel Washburn's, career assist total sits at nine ahead of EMU's season opener. With her next helper, Washburn will become the 18th Eagle to reach double-digit assists during their career.

LOOKING AHEAD: Following Sunday's tilt versus Loyola Chicago, the Eagles will remain continue their homestand when they play host to Oregon State University. The Green and White welcome the Beavers to Scicluna Field Sunday, Sept. 11, for a 1p.m. clash.
