Volleyball's Green and White Scrimmage Set for Saturday

The Eagles will split into two squads and take each other on at the Convocation Center
YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) - The Eastern Michigan University volleyball team is inviting everyone in the general public to come enjoy a free scrimmage Saturday, Aug. 22, put on by first-year Head Coach Kimi Olson's squad. The Green and White scrimmage will begin at 2 p.m. at the Convocation Center.
"I am excited to get our team into a match like atmosphere," remarked Olson. "This will help us prepare to compete with preseason tournaments beginning in less than a week."
The match will begin at 2 p.m. and will be played as a full best-of-five set match. The Eagles will be split into two teams, the Green Team and the White Team, and will compete for inter-squad bragging rights.
