MAC Announces 2026 Conference Volleyball Schedule

Eagles set for 16 conference matches, eight home matches

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The 2026 Mid-American Conference schedule is set for the Eastern Michigan University volleyball team, as the MAC announced the regular season conference schedule for its 12 member institutions Wednesday, April 29.
Eastern is set for 16 conference matches, eight of which will take place inside the George Gervin GameAbove Center, where admission is free, and eight that will be played on the road. Postseason play begins with the MAC Tournament Quarterfinals Friday, Nov. 20.
The Eagles begin their conference schedule on the road with a renewed rivalry match at Central Michigan, Sept. 22, at 6 p.m., before their conference home opener against Ohio, Sept. 25, at 4 p.m. Eastern follows up with a road trip to Kalamazoo to take on the Broncos of Western Michigan, Oct. 2, at 6 p.m., before heading back home the following day to face Central Michigan for the second time in 12 days, Oct. 3, 6 p.m.
Eastern then travels to the Queen City to face Buffalo in a two-game series, Oct. 9, at 6 p.m., and Oct 10, at 4 p.m. Next, EMU is scheduled to welcome Miami for two consecutive contests, both taking place at 6 p.m., Thursday-Friday, Oct. 15-16.
The Kent State Golden Flashes will host the Eagles for a two-game set before returning to Ypsilanti, Thursday-Friday, Oct. 22-23. The first game will take place at 6 p.m. while first serve for game two is slated for 4 p.m.
After returning to Ypsilanti, the Eagles will roost for three consecutive home games. The Akron Zips come to town to end the October slate in a two-game series, as game one is Oct. 30, at 6 p.m., and the second game takes place Halloween afternoon, Oct. 31, at 4 p.m. EMU begins its November schedule hosting the Western Michigan Broncos, Nov. 3, at 6 p.m.
The next two games for the Eagles take them south to Ohio, facing the defending MAC Tournament Champion Toledo Rockets, Nov. 6, at 6 p.m., before their final road game at Bowling Green, Nov. 13, at 6:30 p.m.
The Eagles end their conference schedule at home, welcoming the reigning MAC Regular Season Champion Ball State Cardinals for the regular-season finale for the second consecutive season, Nov. 14. First serve time is to-be-determined.
Eastern looks to begin postseason play with the MAC Quarterfinals taking place Friday, Nov. 20, in Muncie, Ind.
