Men's Track and Field Takes on Toledo Invitational for Friday's Slate

Green and White closes out regular season in the Buckeye State
YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — Eastern Michigan University's men's track and field team will go up against the field of the Mid-American Conference at the 2014 MAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships just one week from today, May 15-17 in Athens, Ohio. In preparation for the conference meet, the Green and White will head to nearby Toledo, Ohio, where MAC member the University of Toledo will host the Toledo Invitational Friday, May 9.
The Toledo Invitational will be held at the outdoor track located at Fetterman Stadium and will begin with the field events at 9 a.m., followed by the start of track events at noon. The meet will be one of the final opportunities for the Green and White to earn qualifying marks for not only the 2014 MAC Championships, but also the NCAA East Regional, May 29-31.
