Women's Golf Takes Aim at Dolores Black Falcon Invitational

Eagles ready for the final tune-up before the MAC Championship
YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — The Eastern Michigan University women's golf team will travel to Ohio to compete in Bowling Green's Dolores Black Falcon Invitational this weekend, April 12-13.
The Dolores Black Falcon Invitational will begin at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Stone Ridge Golf Club. EMU will play the final 18 at the par 72, 5,960-yard setup on Sunday beginning at 8:30 a.m. No live scoring will be available for this event, but scores and recaps will be posted on EMUEagles.com following each day of play.
The field will be primarily comprised of schools from the Great Lakes region. Along with the Eagles and host Falcons, the field at Stone Ridge Golf Club will include: Akron, Ball State, Chicago State, Cleveland State, Detroit, Illinois-Chicago, IPFW, Northern Illinois, Oakland, Ohio, South Dakota State and Western Illinois.
This will be the fourth year the tournament has been named after Dolores Black, who coached the Falcons from 1969-76.
EMU will be competing in the event for the first time in program history.
