YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) - The Eastern Michigan University softball team has canceled its final scheduled home game of the 2013 campaign today, Sunday, April 28, due to rainy conditions at Varsity Field. The rain kept the Eagles (15-29-1; 5-12 MAC) from taking on Ball State University for the second time this season.
Next week Eastern hits the road to the University of Notre Dame Tuesday, April 20, for a non-conference matchup with the Fighting Irish. Game time is scheduled for 5 p.m.
