Women’s Golf Wraps Up the Fall Campaign in the Palmetto State

KIAWAH, S.C. (EMUEagles.com) -- The Eastern Michigan University women's golf team closes its fall season Sunday and Monday, Oct. 27-28, when the Eagles travel to south for the Palmetto Intercollegiate. The two-day, 54-hole event hosted by the College of Charleston will be played at the Turtle Point Golf Course.

The tournament will be played in a 5-count-4 format with the course set up for a par 72, 5,972 yards.

The Palmetto Intercollegiate will feature a 19-team field, including Augusta State, Bucknell, Charleston Southern, Cincinnati, Coastal Carolina, Charleston, East Tennessee, Eastern Michigan, Elon, Georgia State, Illinois, Jacksonville State, James Madison, Kansas, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri State, South Florida and Xavier.

Participating for the Green and White will be Karyn Lee Ping, Sylvie Williams, Kelsey Murphy, Lois Schoof and Usanee Laopattananont.
