Men's Swimming and Diving Comes Out on Top of MAC Preseason Polls

Defending MAC champions named the league favorite
CLEVELAND, Ohio-- The Mid-American Conference announced Friday, Oct. 11 that Eastern Michigan University's men's swimming and diving team is favored to win the conference for the 2013-14 season.
The poll, as voted on by MAC coaches, lands the Eagles at the top of the contender list after the Green and White won their 31st MAC Championship in 2013. Entering the 26th year of his tenure at EMU, Head Coach Peter Linn has 21 men's championship titles under his belt. The Eagles are also currently riding a 63-MAC dual win streak.
Rounding out the top three in the polls are Missouri State and Buffalo.
The Eagles dive into competition Friday, Oct. 18 when they travel to Evanston, Ill. to take on the Northwestern University Wildcats.
