Women's Cross Country Heads To Notre Dame Invitational Friday

The Eagles will run in the first race of the day at 2 PM

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University Women's Cross Country Team will be back in action Friday, September 28th as the Eagles head to South Bend, Indiana for the Notre Dame Invitational.

Eastern Michigan will face a field consisting of Calvin, Hillsdale, Indiana State, IPFW, Missouri-Kansas City, Murray State, Texas Arlington, TCU, UW Green Bay, UW Oshkosh, Valparaiso, Western Illinois, Youngstown State and Notre Dame “B”.

Eastern enters South Bend following a 13th place finish at the Toledo Bubble Buster. The Eagles have been led in 2012 by sophomore Victoria Voronko (Starvropol, Russia-School #42) as she has paced EMU as the top finisher in three races this season.

Events at the Notre Dame Invitational begin at 2 PM Friday at Notre Dame's cross country course at Burke Memorial Golf Course with the EMU women running in the first race of the day.
