Voronko paces Eagles for third time in 2012

TOLEDO, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University Women's Cross Country team took 13th Friday evening at the second annual Toledo Bubble Buster hosted by the University of Toledo.
EMU was led by sophomore Victoria Voronko for the third time this season, as Voronko turned in a time of 14:06.4, finishing 51st overall.
Joining Voronko, to score for the Eagles were Morgan Churchwell, Rachel Quaintance, Kayla Pfund and Marina Manjon Rivadulla.
The Eagles 13th place finish came against a tough field of competitors as four were nationally ranked in the top 25, and all 13 were ranked in their respective regions.
Butler's Katie Clark took the individual title as she paced the team champion, Butler Bulldogs, to victory with a winning time of 13:04.8.
Eastern Michigan is back in action next Friday, September 28 at the Notre Dame Invitational, where the gun is set to go off at 2 PM.
