Women's Cross Country Set For NCAA Postseason Run

EMU travels to Wisconsin for Great Lakes Regional
YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University women's cross country team will travel to Madison, Wisc. Friday, Nov. 9, for the NCAA Great Lakes Regional. The women's 6K race will begin at 12:00 p.m. (CST) followed by the men's 10K race at 1:15 p.m. (CST).
One year ago, sophomore Victoria Voronko led the Eagles to a 13th-place finish at the meet, finishing 36th overall in the 227-particpiant field.
The Eagles, 13th in the Great Lakes Region, are coming off of a fifth place finish at the 2012 MAC Championships led by Voronko. The first team All-MAC runner will look to continue her strong postseason start this weekend.
