YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com)- Eastern Michigan University's head women's golf coach Sandy Wagner announced that this year's Sixth Annual Golf Outing/Fundraiser will be held Friday, Oct. 7, 2011, at the Eagle Crest Golf Club. Registration and Practice Range Open begins at 10:30 a.m. with a Shotgun Start at noon. Dinner and a silent auction with follow at 5 p.m.
For the past six years, the EMU women's golf team has made over $90,000 in additional funds for its program as a result of its Annual Golf Outing/Fundraiser. This money has enabled the team to play in more competitive tournaments, fly to warmer destinations, and purchase equipment necessary for the team to be competitive and successful.
Your participation in this event will have a direct impact on the experience of these female student-athletes, in addition to a portion ($90) of your entry fee being tax deductable. We encourage you to participate and be a part of the success of the 2011/12 EMU Women's Golf Team.
