Kristen Baker (Mentor, Ohio-Mentor) was a force at the net banging home 11 kills. Defensively, the Green and White had three athletes in double-figures in digs with seniors Haley Stein (Carleton, Mich.-Monroe St. Mary's Catholic Central) and Cassie Sowers (Williamsport, Ohio-Wesfall) leading the way with 28 and 12 digs, respectively.

Eastern dropped the first set, 25-15, hitting just .093 compared to the Broncos .400. Baker and Iaquaniello led the offense with three kills each, while Mason picked up 10 assists to open the match. Paige Roback (Maumee, Ohio-Notre Dame Academy) added two kills in the set for the Eagles.
