EMU will head to Oxford, Ohio, March 27-29, to face the Miami University RedHawks.

YPSILANTI, Mich. – Coming off a 3-1 victory over the University of Michigan Wolverines in Ann Arbor, March 24, the Eastern Michigan University baseball team (4-18, 0-3 MAC) hits the road for its second Mid-American Conference series of the season when they face the Miami University RedHawks (9-10, 0-3 MAC), March 27-29, in Oxford, Ohio.  The two teams will play a doubleheader Friday, March 27, beginning at 3 p.m., and a single game Saturday, March 28, at 6 p.m.

EMU leads the all-time series over Miami, 55-39, including a three-game sweep over the RedHawks last season at Oestrike Stadium.

A LOOK AT MIAMI: The RedHawks are coming off an impressive win themselves, as they pounded out 17 hits en route to a 16-5 win at the University of Dayton, March 25. Miami's series against EMU marks its first action at home this season. After meeting EMU, the RedHawks have two mid-week road games at Eastern Kentucky and Xavier before heading to Kalamazoo for a conference series against Western Michigan University.

LOOKING AHEAD: After a weekend series in Oxford against the RedHawks, the Eagles begin the month of April with a game against the Cleveland State University Vikings, April 1, at the Pipe Yard in Lorain, Ohio. The Eagles dropped last year's meeting with the Vikings at Oestrike Stadium, 15-9. After playing CSU, the Eagles host their first conference series of the season when the Akron Zips come to Oestrike Stadium, April 3-5.
