EMU returns home for a 1p.m. match with Marshall

ORLANDO, Fla.—The Eastern Michigan University women's tennis team concluded its seven-match road swing Thursday afternoon, Feb. 26, dropping a 7-0 match to the University of Central Florida.

With the setback, the Eagles drop to 3-8 on the season while the Knights improve to 5-2.

The Eagles were unable to overcome the 1-0 deficit following doubles, allowing the nights to sweep all three paired matches. In singles, the Eagles were unable to find their groove, succumbing in all six matches.

The Eagles will return to the friendly confines of the Chippewa Racquet Club in hopes to turn their luck around with a match against Marshall University. First serve is set for 1 p.m.
