Nikki Greathouse joins the Eastern Michigan University staff for the 2012 season and will primarily work with outfielders and slappers.
Greathouse served as the Assistant Coach at Tecumseh High School in Tecumseh, Mich. for two seasons prior to joining the Eagles.
Previous to her coaching career, Greathouse was a former standout at Michigan State University, where she landed First Team All-Big Ten and NFCA All-Great Lakes Region accolades during her senior campaign. Her .332 career batting average is fifth all-time in the MSU career record books and her 221 hits is fourth best by any player. Greathouse also tallied 125 runs over her career (second) and swiped 68 bases (second) for the Spartans.
Greathouse currently resides in Tecumseh, Mich. with her husband, Tony.
