Kristine Dolunt

The 2016 campaign marks the first Kristine Dolunt will be in the dugout for the Eagles. Dolunt joins the EMU staff following a two year stint at Ferris State University. While serving as an assistant coach for the Bulldogs, Dolunt worked primarily with the outfielders and slappers. Working alongside head coach Sarah Rotta, the Allen Park, Mich. native helped produce two All-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletics Conference selections.
Prior to her time at Ferris State, Dolunt coached at her alma mater, University of Michigan-Dearborn for two years. Working with outfielders and slappers, Dolunt also assisted with academic oversight and recruiting.
In her playing days, Dolunt was a three-year fixture in the outfield for the Wolverines. A two-time team captain, Dolunt's defensive abilities were highlighted by a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage for the 2009 season. Dolunt is a three-time recipient of the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Champions of Character Award, an honor given to the player that best exemplifies the five core values of National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA).
