Denis Bausick

Denis Bausick enters his sixth season with the EMU softball program. He has been an equipment manager, assistant coach and a volunteer assistant coach for the Eagles since he joined the program in 2008.
Bausick began working with Eastern Michigan in 2000 when he was a member of the medical staff as an X-ray technician before volunteering his time in the equipment room from 2006-2010.
Head Coach Melissa Gentile says, “"Denis has been a huge asset to EMU Athletics for the past 10 years and I am really excited that Denis will be staying with us this year. His knowledge of the department and connection to the EMU community will serve us well moving into this next phase for EMU Softball."
The Fenton, Mich. native currently helps coach the Thunderbirds travel softball team where he works with the infield and catchers, as well as helped to improve the teams hitting and baserunnning skills.
Currently, Bausick works as an X-ray technician at U of M Hospital, where he has been for 24 years.
The Fenton, Mich. native attended Fenton High School where he played both football and baseball.
Bausick earned a degree in allied health in 1989 from Washtenaw Community College.
