Matt Patterson is in his second season at Eastern Michigan University and the first as a graduate assistant coach for football team. Patterson spent the 2007 campaign as the Eagles’ video coordinator.

The 24-year-old Patterson (11-3-83) spent the 2005-06 season as a student assistant football coach. A 2006 graduate of Adrian, Patterson was an All-MIAA first-team football player in 2004 and also served as the team captain that season.

A native of Wayne, Mich., Patterson was a football and basketball player at Wayne Memorial High School before graduating in 2001.
