HIGH SCHOOL: At Delaware Hayes…Earned three letters and served as a captain for one season under head coach David Meikrantz…Saw action as a shortstop, outfielder, and pitcher…An All-OCC First Team, Second Team, and Honorable mention player in his four seasons…Also earned all-district special mention…Earned the Cy Young and Rookie of the Year Awards…Led the Pacers to an 18-10 record in his senior season…Also played on the Pacers’ basketball team.
