EMU: 2007: Started 47 games in centerfield for the Eagles…Hit a career-best .258 on the season…Totaled 33 hits on the season, four for extra bases…Had a .970 fielding percentage…Had two six-game hit streaks (Feb. 26-March 2 and March 24-April 1)…Compiled seven multi-hit games…2006: Academic All-MAC honoree…Started 42 games in center field…Stole a team-high nine bases, including two in two separate contests…Knocked in a career-high five runs in the first game of a doubleheader against Toledo (April 21), and cranked out four hits in the nightcap. Combined for a 7-for-9 day with six RBI, four runs, a triple, and two stolen bases in a doubleheader sweep against Toledo …Scored three runs in two different contests…Posted seven multi-hit game…Batted .400 (10-for-25) with runners in scoring position…Totaled 33 hits, 10 RBI, two triples and scored 20 runs…2005: Stole a team-best nine bases on the season, and did not get caught stealing all season (9-for-9)...Had two multiple hit games on the season, versus IPFW (March 28) and on May 4 against Oakland...Was instrumental in EMU’s win over Michigan State at Varsity Field, going 1-for-1 on the day, and jumpstarting a two-run comeback in the bottom of the seventh inning, scoring from first in a pinch running effort...High school: Four-year varsity letter winner at Clarkston High...As a freshman outfielder, was named All-League, All-District and All-County...Compiled the same accolades following her sophomore campaign, but accomplished them behind the plate as a catcher...Started at third base for her junior campaign, and was named All-OAA, All-District, All-County and All-Region...Was the starting catcher as a senior, and led her team to the semifinals of the state championships, where they lost 5-4 to state runner-up Portage Northern...Was a first-team All-State selection, and elected to the All-County "Dream Team"...Also earned All-League, All-District, All-County and All-Region honors...Was a three-sport standout...Also played volleyball and basketball...Was a member of National Honor Society...Personal: Daughter of Brian Giroux...Has a sister, Amber, and a brother, Joshua...Fiance is Dan Kresbaugh...Born: 4-13-86...Major: Criminology/Political Science.
