Gimm Adds Pari Surana to 2026-27 Diving Roster

The diver joins the program after two years at Marshall University
YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – Eastern Michigan University Head Diving Coach Tom Gimm announced the addition of transfer student-athlete Pari Surana for the 2026-27 season.
The addition brings the total of new athletes for the 2026-27 season to six, with Lauren Carlson, Gabia Gelumbickas, Eleanor Groves, Emma Jönsson, and Silvana Pomar also joining the swim and dive programs.
Pari Surana (Mumbai, India/Jai Hind College)
Event: Diving
EMU: 2026-27: Joins the program as an incoming transfer from Marshall University.
MU: 2025-26: Attended Marshall University for two years… Competed in nine meets… Was named Most Improved Diver for the Herd… Scored a season-best 170.20 points in the one-meter dive at the Miami Invitational, Nov. 21… Earned a season-best score of 178.40 points in the three-meter dive against FIU, Dec. 16.
2024-25: Competed in five meets… Scored a personal-best 179.70 points on the one-meter dive and a personal best score of 183.53 points for her three-meter dive at the WV State Games, Oct. 4… Earned a score of 141.70 points in the platform dive at the Sun Belt Conference Championships, Feb. 22.
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Jai Hind College… Competed in gymnastics and soccer… Was a five-time regional champion for both bars and vault, three-time state runner up for bars, and four-time state team champions… She also was a national qualifier, two-time state runner up and three-time regional champion in both one-meter and three-meter… Competed for PMHB Club Divers for three years.
