YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) - The Eastern Michigan University swim and dive program, Head Swimming Coach Derek Perkins, and Head Diving Coach Tom Gimm announced the team's 2026-27 schedule Wednesday, Sep. 2.

The Eagles begin their season with the Green vs. White intra-squad scrimmage Saturday, Oct. 10, 2 p.m., in the Jones Natatorium. They are then slated to compete in seven regular-season meets before the Mid-American Conference (MAC) Championships, hosted by Bowling Green State University, at Cooper Pool in Bowling Green, Ohio, Wednesday-Saturday, Feb. 24-27.

Eastern stays at home the first four meets of its regular season, starting with the Eastern Classic, where they will host the University of Toledo, Wayne State University, and Aquinas College Friday-Saturday, Oct. 16-17, at Jones Natatorium.

Next, they host the University at Buffalo Friday-Saturday, Oct. 30-31, followed by Calvin University Friday, Nov. 13, 5 p.m., and Oakland University Thursday, Nov. 19, 4 p.m.

The Green and White's first action on the road will be the Oakland Invite, hosted by Oakland University in Rochester, Mich., Wednesday-Saturday, Dec. 2-5 to conclude the 2026 portion of the season.

The program competes for the first time in 2027 at home, hosting Ohio University Saturday, Jan. 16, 11 a.m.

Their last meet of the regular season will be on the road, as they travel to Toledo, Ohio, to compete at the University of Toledo, Saturday, Jan. 30, 1 p.m.

A tradition of the swim and dive program, the Eagles will celebrate their seniors with the annual Senior Extravaganza Saturday, Feb. 6, 1 p.m., at Jones Natatorium.

After the MAC Championships, select Eastern swimmers and divers will go on to compete at further post season meets such as the NCAA Zone Diving Championships, Monday-Wednesday, March 8-10, hosted by Purdue University at the Morgan J. Burke Aquatics Center in West Lafeyette, Ind., and the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) National Invitational Championships at the F.A.S.T. Facility in Ocala, Fla. Thursday-Saturday, March 11-13.

The season concludes with the NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships, hosted by the University of Texas at the Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center in Austin, Texas, Wednesday-Saturday, March 17-20.
