Olivia Sipsock's second-half goal — her 20th career at Eastern Michigan — extended the Eagles' scoring streak to six consecutive matches
YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University women's soccer team fell to Western Michigan University, 3-1, at Scicluna Field Thursday, Oct. 15, as the Broncos scored three times to hand the Eagles their second consecutive home defeat.
Western Michigan controlled the match from the opening whistle, outpacing Eastern Michigan in shots and shots on goal while the Eagles struggled to generate consistent offensive pressure. Despite the result, Olivia Sipsock (Medina, Ohio/Medina) found the net in the second half to extend EMU's scoring streak to six consecutive matches, and the Green and White showed resilience in pushing forward late in the contest.
