YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) - Eastern Michigan University volleyball returns home for a two-match MAC series against Miami University, Thursday, Oct. 15, and Friday, Oct. 16, at the Gervin GameAbove Center, with both matches set for 6 p.m. starts.

ALL-TIME AGAINST MIAMI
Eastern Michigan and Miami will meet for the 67th and 68th times. EMU is 22-44 against Miami and holds a 13-22 record in Ypsilanti. Despite the 22-44 mark, Eastern is 7-1 in its last eight matches against Miami, which includes four-straight wins in Ypsilanti. Prior to the current four-match home winning streak against the RedHawks, EMU had never recorded three-straight home wins against Miami.
LAST TIME OUT
In the most recent outing Saturday, Oct. 10, a four-set loss to Buffalo, Nattie Slusher (Cincinnati, Ohio/Seton) led the offense with a career-high 14 kills on 44 attacks. Surabhi Srinivasan (Dublin, Ohio/Dublin Jerome) recorded 20 digs, extending her streak of matches with double-digit digs to eight. Kaylin Richter (Temperance, Mich./Bedford) notched a double-double with 17 assists and a career-high 11 digs.
The night before, Friday, Oct. 9, the Eagles set a season high with 84 team digs in a five-set loss to Buffalo, with five players recording double-doubles. Lily Spark (Christchurch, New Zealand/Frontier C.C.) totaled nine kills and a season-high 18 digs across the two Buffalo matches, adding 13 digs in the first contest.

The Eagles rank second in the MAC as a team in both blocks per set (2.32) and aces per set (1.62).

MILESTONES
Fourth-year defensive specialist/outside hitter Surabhi Srinivasan surpassed 903 career digs following the series against Buffalo. Head coach Kevin Foeman earned his 192nd career victory with the second sweep against Central Michigan, Oct. 3.
