After EMU tallied its first hit of the day with a Giano Zuccaro (Middleburg Heights, Ohio/Berea Midpark/Charleston) single in the fourth, it scored its first run of the day in the fifth off a Vance RBI single up the middle to score Ty Stecko (North Huntingdon, Pa./Norwin/Mount St. Mary's) from second after he reached via a lead-off single and advanced to second on a Drew Jones (Cleveland, Ohio/Brush/Ohio State) groundout.
