ALL-TIME VERSUS PRESBYTERIAN

SERIES IN REVIEW: AT CENTRAL ARKANSAS, FEB. 22-24
The Eagles won their first series of the 2025 season, taking two out of three from the Central Arkansas Bears in Conway, Ark.

Game One
Eastern put together a complete game, leading wire-to-wire in game one. Logan Hugo paced the offense with a 4-for-5 day from the dish with three doubles and four RBI, while Drew Beckner got the start and pitched five innings, allowing one run and striking out eight as the Eagles emerged victorious, 9-5.

Game Two
In a back-and-forth affair, the Eagles used six-run fifth and sixth innings to plate a season-high 14 runs in game two, winning, 14-6. Junior right hander Ethan Davis earned the win in relief effort, after entering the game in the fifth, he pitched 3.1 innings, allowing zero runs and three hits while striking out four.

Game Three
The Bears rebounded to take the series finale from the Eagles, although it wasn't easy as the game had to go into extras to be decided, concluding with a walk-off single up the middle to seal the Bears' 10-9 (10) victory. Brendan Kleiman paced the Eastern offense on the day with three hits and three RBI, including his first homer of the season and one double.
