MAC Announces Next Two Football Game Times

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Mid-American Conference has announced the official game times for Eastern Michigan University's upcoming home football matchups at Rynearson Stadium. Both the Oct. 12 and Oct.19 games will kick off at 2 p.m. ET.
The Oct. 12 game, featuring Eastern Michigan against Miami University, will be broadcast nationally on ESPN+. Fans can also listen to the live audio broadcast on WEMU 89.1 FM or via the Varsity Network app. In addition to the thrilling gridiron action, spectators will be treated to an exclusive halftime performance by the world-renowned vocal group, The Temptations, alongside the Eastern Michigan University Marching Band, the Pride of the Peninsula. The performance will feature EMU alum and Detroit native, Jawan M. Jackson, who joined The Temptations in 2022.
The Temptations are a legendary American vocal group from Detroit, famous for their contributions to the R&B and soul genres. Since rising to prominence in the 1960s with Motown Records, they have left an indelible mark on music history, selling tens of millions of albums worldwide. Their signature harmonies, sophisticated choreography, and fashionable style have made them one of the most successful groups in the history of popular music.
Single-game tickets for the Oct. 12 game and the special halftime show are now available at EMUEagles.com/tickets or by calling the EMU Ticket Office at 734.487.3669. Advance tickets start at $20, while group tickets (15 or more individuals) are available for as low as $8 per person.
The Oct. 19 game will feature a long-standing rivalry, as Eastern Michigan takes on Central Michigan University in the 102nd meeting between the two programs. The game will also be broadcast on ESPN+ and available for audio coverage on WEMU 89.1 FM and the Varsity Network app.
Additionally, this game will mark the 96th Homecoming contest in EMU football history. The Eagles hold an all-time Homecoming record of 48-45-2 and will aim for their fourth consecutive Homecoming victory. Eastern Michigan has previously won three Homecoming games in a row, including a 24-10 win over Ball State University, Oct. 7, 2023, and a 20-13 triumph over the University of Massachusetts in 2022.
