YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University swim and dive team will compete in their final regular-season meet of the season, as the Eagles will attend the First Chance Meet, hosted by the University of Michigan, Saturday-Sunday, Feb. 17-18.
Meet Information/How to Follow
The meet will begin at 10 a.m. each day, at the Canham Natatorium in Ann Arbor, Mich. Fans can follow along with the meet on the Meet Mobile app and stay tuned to EMUEagles.com following the meet for a post-meet recap with final results attached.
Last Time Out
Eastern last competed in a non-scoring intrasquad scrimmage for their annual Senior Extravaganza celebration, Feb. 3, at the Jones Natatorium.
The Eagles honored seniors Savannah Fisk (Chelsea, Mich./Chelsea); Tierney Fraidenburg (Ann Arbor, Mich./Ann Arbor Pioneer); Taylor Harris (Tiffin, Ohio/Calvert/Bowling Green State); Camryn Hughes (London, Ontario/Sir Frederick Banting Secondary); student manager Mallorie Johnson, Katie Shoen (Owego, N.Y./Owego Free Academy); Keira Veltigian (Oxford, Mich./Oxford); and Abbey Whipple (State College, Pa./State College Area).

The Eagles will enter post-season competition, beginning with the Mid-American Conference Championships, Wednesday-Saturday, Feb. 28-March 2. The meet will be hosted by Ohio University at the Ohio Aquatic Center.
