Forty-Six Rowers Named to CAA Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll

Eagles help CAA achieve conference record in fall semester
RICHMOND, Va. (EMUEagles.com) – A total of 46 Eastern Michigan University rowers earned spots on the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll for the 2023 fall semester, the league announced Thursday, Feb. 1.
The CAA recognized a conference‐record 3,974 student‐athletes as members of the CAA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll for the 2023 Fall semester.
Student‐athletes on the Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll must have participated in a CAA‐sponsored sport, attained a minimum grade point average of 3.0 during the designated academic term and been enrolled as a full‐time student.

The CAA recognized a conference‐record 3,974 student‐athletes as members of the CAA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll for the 2023 Fall semester.
For the first time, the conference is honoring student‐athletes for three different levels of achievement. Those with a 4.0 grade point average are recognized as High Honors with Distinction. Student‐athletes with a GPA between 3.7 and 4.0 are recognized as High Honors. Student‐athletes with a GPA betwQeen 3.0 and 3.7 are recognized as Honors. There were 554 student‐athletes earning High Honors with Distinction, 1,142 student‐athletes achieving High Honors, and 2,278 student‐athlete receiving Honors.
