YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — The Eastern Michigan University football program officially welcomed 18 student-athletes to the football program Wednesday, Dec. 4, during the Early Signing Period. All have committed to join the Eagles for the 2025 campaign.

The class includes a mix of 12 defensive and six offensive players hailing from 11 different states across the United States as well as Canada and Mexico. Offensively, EMU added two players to the offensive line, two wide receivers, one quarterback, and one running back. On the defensive side of the ball, the Eagles welcome six defensive linemen, five defensive backs, and one linebacker.

"We are really excited about this freshmen class," said Head Coach Chris Creighton. "The core started back in the summer and has become really tight. We have high hopes for these guys and cannot wait for them to get here."

The highly anticipated class features 16 student-athletes who will be "true" freshmen next season. Of that group, a total of 14 earned a three-star ranking from one of the national recruiting services. The class also features the signing of two transfers and five freshmen who are enrolled in classes for the upcoming winter semester.

In its eighth year, the Early Signing Period was approved by the NCAA in May 2017. The early signing period allows high school seniors a 72-hour window in December to sign with the school of their choice. It comes about two months before National Signing Day, which is Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2025.

The following is a roster and biographical sketches for each of EMU's newest additions.
