EMU at Ohio Football Game Slated for 4 p.m. on ESPNU

Eagles and Bobcats set to square off inside Peden Stadium in Athens, Ohio
CLEVELAND, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) — The Mid-American Conference announced game times and television designations for its Week 8 games that will be played Saturday, Oct. 24, with the Eastern Michigan University at Ohio University contest selected to start at 4 p.m. on ESPNU.
The Eagles and Bobcats will be meeting for the 36th time in the history of the series with Ohio holding a 22-12-1 advantage after claiming a 28-21 win in Ypsilanti last year to win its fourth consecutive game. The last time the two teams met in Athens came Nov. 13, 2024, in a midweek #MACtion contest that the Bobcats won, 35-10. Eastern will be looking to knock off the hosts for the first time since the 2016 campaign when EMU scored a 27-20 decision on the road.
Before heading to Athens next week, the Eagles will turn their focus to defending the gray turf of Crosby Field at 'The Factory' inside Rynearson Stadium as the Rockets of the University of Toledo come to town for Homecoming, Saturday, Oct. 17. The game will kick off at 3:30 p.m. and will be streamed live on ESPN+. Tom Helmer (play-by-play) and Rob Rubick (analyst) will have the radio call on WEMU (89.1 FM), the Varsity Network app, and SiriusXM live from Ypsilanti.
