Game Time Announced for EMU at Akron Football Game

Eagles and Zips will meet inside InfoCision Stadium in Akron for a 3:30 p.m. kick

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Mid-American Conference has announced the official game time and broadcast designations for football games being played Saturday, Oct. 26, with the Eastern Michigan University at the University of Akron game being slated for 3:30 p.m.
The game will be streamed live on ESPN+ with fans able to listen to the game live on WEMU (89.1 FM) and The Varsity app with Tom Helmer, Rob Rubick, and Greg Steiner calling all the action from the booth.
The Eagles will be looking to collect their fifth consecutive win over the Zips, including their third consecutive win in Akron. Eastern claimed a 30-27, double overtime win in Ypsilanti last season (Nov. 14) to extend the streak after claiming back-to-back wins at Akron, including a 34-28 decision in the most recent meeting at InfoCision Stadium, Nov. 8, 2022.
Before the Eagles turn their attention to the Zips, they will focus on defending Crosby Field inside Rynearson Stadium as rival Central Michigan University comes to town for a Michigan MAC game Saturday, Oct. 19. The game, EMU's 96th Homecoming contest, is slated for a 2 p.m. kick and will stream live on ESPN+, WEMU (89.1 FM), and The Varsity app.
Fans are encouraged to purchase their tickets ahead of game day at EMUEagles.com/Tickets or by calling the EMU Ticket Office at 734.487.3669 to make sure they don't miss any of the festivities surrounding the game, including tailgates and the Eagle Walk (11:45 a.m.). Additionally, E-Club Hall of Fame coach Jim Harkema will make his return to The Factory and will serve as the honorary coach for the game.
