Collins Qualifies for PGA's Corales Puntacana Championship

PUNTA CANA, Dominican Republic (EMUEagles.com) – Former Eastern Michigan University men's golfer Cougar Collins (Caledon, Ontario, Canada-Mayfield Secondary) will make his PGA Tour debut at the Corales Puntacana Championship, March 23-26, in the Dominican Republic. Collins, who played at EMU from 2017-22, qualified for the event by shooting a 67 to earn his spot in the field at the Puntacana Resort & Club.
Collins finished his qualifying round with five consecutive birdies to punch his ticket to the event.
The native of Caledon, Ontario, Collins has seven starts on 2022 PGA TOUR Canada, highlighted by a 39th-place showing at the ATB Classic last June.
