Przybylo matched career-high with five saves
TOLEDO, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University soccer team dropped a 3-0 decision against the University of Toledo Thursday, Oct. 12, at Paul Hotmer Field.
How It Happened
Toledo scored in the sixth and 10th minutes to take a 2-0 lead into the break, despite the Rockets holding a narrow 7-6 edge in shots through 45 minutes.
The Eagles nearly got on the board in the 51st minute but freshman Kate Robinson's (Madison Heights, Mich./Lamphere) shot ricocheted off the crossbar.
Senior Rebecca Przybylo (Canton, Mich./Plymouth) stopped back-to-back shots in the 60th minute to keep Toledo at two goals before the Rockets ultimately added a third in the 85th minute.
The Rockets held a 18-12 advantage in shots and a 3-1 mark in corner kicks.
