BUFFALO, N.Y. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University diving program completed its competition at the University at Buffalo's Diving Invite Saturday, Jan. 14, inside the Alumni Arena Natatorium.
The divers finished the invitational with the 3-meter dive, after competing in the 1-meter dive yesterday, Jan. 13.
How It Happened
In the preliminary round, junior Camryn Hughes (London, Ontario-Sir Frederick Banting) placed sixth with a score of 269.30. Senior Keira Veltigian (Oxford, Mich.-Oxford) also qualified for the finals after placing 11th with a score of 250.85.
In the finals, Veltigian finished sixth with a mark of 282.45 while Hughes placed eighth (264.05).
Up Next
The EMU swimming and diving program will host Buffalo, Jan. 21, in Saline, Mich. at Saline High School. The first event is set to begin at 1:30 p.m.
