Forty-Four Rowers Earn Spot on CAA Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll

The 44 honorees are the most selected in program history
RICHMOND, Va. (EMUEagles.com) – A program-record 44 Eastern Michigan University rowers earned spots on the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll for the 2021 fall semester, the league announced today, Feb. 3.
The CAA recognized a conference-record 2,822 student-athletes from the 16 different institutions. Student-athletes on the Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll must have participated in a CAA-sponsored sport, attained a minimum grade point average of 3.0 during the designated academic term, and been enrolled as a full-time student.
Senior members of the EMU squad to be named to the team were Lauren Ahern (Farmington Hills, Mich.-Walled Lake Western) and Brynne Harder (Fenwick, Mich.-Saranac).
From the junior class, Hannah Barry (New Lenox, Ill.-Lincoln-Way East), Priscilla Brom (Rockford, Mich.-Rockford), Brianna Gracey (Dayton, Ohio-Chaminade Julienne), Mary Hemgesberg (Freeland, Mich.-Freeland), Caitlin Rodanhisler (Hopkins, Mich.-Hopkins) were named to the honor roll.
Rose Andrews (Rochester, Ill.-Rochester), Emma Boerson (West Olive, Mich.-Grand Haven), Chloe Hinojosa (Kewanee, Ill.-Kewanee), Alexis Kettler (Trenton, Mich.-Trenton), Kaialani Knox (Carmel, Ind.-Carmel), Claire McCurley (Harrison, Ohio-William Henry Harrison), and Ariel Sutton (Indianapolis, Ind.-Scecina Memorial) represent rowing's sophomore class on the list.
