ROCHESTER, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – After it's best showing to open a season in more than a decade, the Eastern Michigan University women's golf team returns to action at the Golden Grizzly Invitational, Sept. 26-27, on the Katke-Cousins Golf Course.
The course plays to a par-72 and a length of 5,966. There will be one round each day with Sunday's opening round set for a 12 p.m. start followed by a shotgun start on Monday at 9 a.m.
The seven-team tournament will feature Central Michigan, Cleveland State, Dayton, Detroit Mercy, Eastern Michigan, Oakland, and Purdue Fort Wayne.
Head Coach Stephanie Jennings will use the lineup of freshman Anna Watson (Ashland, Ohio-Ashland), junior Natai Apichonlati (Bangkok, Thailand-The Regent's International School), freshman Kyleigh Dull (Fremont, Ohio-Lakota), sophomore Olivia Loberg (Bend, Ore.-Summit), and freshman Alyssa DiMarcantonio (Maple, Ontario-Tommy Douglas Secondary School). Freshman Sophia Wygonik (Westland, Mich.-Livonia Franklin) will be taking part in the event as an individual competitor.
