"Noah is a talented and dynamic point guard with great speed," Heath said. "His vision and creativity is extremely high. Additionally, he has the ability to score and make guys around him better. Noah is an exciting player for fans to watch and I look forward to coaching him."

The freshman saw action in 12 games last season for the Pirates, averaging 3.0 points, 1.0 assists, and 0.9 rebounds per game. He made his collegiate debut against N.C. Wesleyan, scoring six points and handing out three assists in 16 minutes. Farrakhan graduated from The Patrick School in Hillsdale, N.J., where he played as a senior in 2019-20 and led the Celtics to a sectional championship. He averaged 7.1 points and 2.4 assists per game, while shooting 46 percent from the field during his final prep campaign.

The 6-foot-2 guard also played at the IMG Academy in Florida, where he led the team to the 2019 GEICO High School National Championship. Additionally, Farrakhan started his high school career at St. Benedict's Prep in Newark, N.J. He was a member of the 2017 and 2018 NJISSA state championship teams, and earned Second Team All-State honors as a sophomore. Farrakhan also played AAU for the New Jersey Playaz's, where the team won the Nike National Championship Peach Jam.
