DEXTER, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) -- The Eastern Michigan University cross country program wrapped up its regular season at the EMU Fall Classic in Dexter, Mich., today, Oct. 22. The Eagles had five total runners test themselves in the 5K on the hills of Dexter's Hudson Mills Metropark, two of who set personal-best times.
"It was great to host this meet again after a year's absence," said Director/Head Coach Sue Parks. "Our athletes who raced competed well."
"I was really excited for the guys that raced today," said Head Coach Mark Rinker. "It was a great way to end the cross country season for the guys not racing in the MAC (Mid-American Conference) next week. We built momentum for the indoor season for guys like Luke, Ian, and Muaad and DJ is definitely ready to get back on the track."
