Tennis Set to Open the Season in Ohio

The Green and White will play Cleveland State and Youngstown State, Jan. 30 & 31
CLEVELAND/YOUNGSTOWN,Ohio (EMUEagles.com) — The Eastern Michigan university tennis team is ready to kick off its 2021 spring season, traveling south to Cleveland State University Saturday, Jan. 30, and then Youngstown State University Sunday, Jan. 31.
Eastern (0-0) looks to have a strong start to its season, as does CSU (0-0), both having not played a match yet. YSU enters its matchup with the Eagles holding a record of 0-1, after falling to Miami (OH), 2-5, Jan. 25.
In the 2020 season, the Green and White secured victories over both upcoming opponents, besting the Penguins March 1, 2020, 5-2, and then the Vikings March 11, 2020, 4-3.
