Additionally, two EMU student-athletes, junior Vasavi Ganesan (Tamil Nadu, India-Algappa Marticulation School), and freshman Emma-Lou Pommiers (Aire Sur l'Adour, France-Saint Dominique Pau) were awarded ITA Scholar-Athlete awards.

As a team, the Eagles were in the midst of a fantastic regular season in the spring of 2020, before the campaign was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Wiseman's group was off to a 10-7 start, and should be able to maintain that momentum heading into next season.
Individually, Ganesan and Pommiers both had impressive short-seasons. Ganesan tied for the team lead with 13 singles wins, primarily at the No. 2 slot, while her nine doubles wins were second-most on the team. Pommiers became a fixture in the singles lineup, where she anchored the team at the No. 4 position. She is one of four players to earn double-digit victories in the lone court, finishing with an 11-win campaign.
