Swim & Dive Named CSCAA Scholar All-America Team

The Eagles have now earned the award each semester in 2019-20
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (EMUEagles.com) - The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) announced that the Eastern Michigan University swimming and diving program was named a Scholar All-America team today, June 30. The Eagles have now earned the award in each semester of the 2019-20 season.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, student-athletes overcame the challenges of moving to a virtual learning model midway through the semester. The swimming and diving program embraced the challenges, posting a program-best 3.689 semester GPA. In addition, the program had 10 student-athletes post 4.0 GPAs, the most individuals of any team at EMU. 23 Eagles from the swim and dive team were also named to the Dean's List following the spring 2020 semester.
Teams recognized by the CSCAA were chosen based on their spring 2020 grade point averages. To be eligible for the award, teams must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher for the semester. Teams whose institutions moved to pass/fail grading were not included.
