Swimming and Diving Releases 2019-20 Schedule

The Eagles will face five Mid-American Conference opponents this season
YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – Eastern Michigan University swimming and diving head coach Derek Perkins announced the 2019-20 schedule today, Sept. 23. The Eagles will face five Mid-American Conference opponents over the course of the nine-meet regular season schedule.
Eastern will open with an intrasquad scrimmage on Oct. 5 at Jones Natatorium before starting the regular season on the road at Buffalo, Oct. 19.
The Green and White will open at home against Miami on Oct. 26, followed by a trip to Ball State Nov. 2. The Eagles will wrap up the 2019 portion of their schedule hosting Oakland and Florida Gulf Coast on Nov. 9 and participating in the Denison Invitational Dec. 5-7.
In the new year, Eastern Michigan will spend the first two meets on the road, visiting Wayne State and Akron Jan. 11 and Jan. 18, respectively. The final January meet will see Bowling Green State visit Jones Natatorium Jan. 25.
The Eagles will wrap up the regular season Feb. 15-16 at the Ohio State Invitational.
MAC Championships will take place Feb. 26-29 in Buffalo, N.Y. to start the postseason. NCAA Championships are slated for Mar. 18, 2020.
